About Us…
The Link Farms is a family-owned and operated establishment that was dreamt up by 22-year-old Maria Link in 2016. The farm took root in the heart of southwest Florida – Naples – and has recently relocated to a forever location in central North Carolina.
As the farm population grew so did Maria’s desire to live in harmony with the land on a cozy, self-sustainable homestead, and her dedication to the breeds she resonates with. With this dedication came desire – desire to spread the beauty of the Link Farms specialties/breeds.
The fruit of the dedication and passion Maria had for the farm life blossomed in early 2020 – the Link Farms BLACK GOLD breeding program was born. The Link Farms practices rigorous breed preservation and maintains careful selection of breeding candidates based on temperament, conformation, and health.
The Link Farms’ sole intention and hope for the BLACK GOLD breeding program is to educate on the specifics of our breeds, and to spread love that will help the breeds to flourish forever.
